Predicting & Preventing Cybercrime in a Post COVID-19 World Using Big Data & AI Webinar on BrightTalk

So here’s the story. I am a tech geek, as you can see in my bio, and I do talks about AI and Cybersecurity all the time. I Do prefer the one-on-one events but when COVID-19 happened and everything went online I could not do any of these events anymore but they were replaced by online events. Not ideal for me but it also opened the doors for me to speak in international events as it doesn’t matter now where you are as long as you have a device with a camera and a steady internet connection.

During COVID-19, we faced the highest ever cyber attacks in history. The fascinating fact that most of those attacks did not occur because of a security gap but through Social Engineering attacks. It also didn’t help that there is a severe shortage in the cybersecurity staffing while the need for such people is increasing by the hour.

AI can help and is already helping, to an extent, right now with fighting cyber crimes but we still need more. In this webinar I’m trying to draw attention about the extreme need for utilizing AI within the cybersecurity realm to be able to fight cybercrime in a world post COVID-19. A world where technology is the major player in every aspect of life and is essential to everyone regardless of their age, position, ethnicity or location.

Hope you enjoy it. Comments and questions are most welcome.
